The Dell Latitude 7220 Rugged Extreme is a fully rugged tablet designed for field professionals who need serious performance in tough conditions. An evolution of the earlier 7212, the 7220 features faster NVMe SSD storage and a more responsive 8th-gen Intel Core i5 processor, delivering smoother load times for data entry, diagnostics, and mapping applications.

The 7220 combines real durability with practical ergonomics. Its reinforced casing, thick rubberised bumpers, and grippy design make it easy to handle with gloves or wet hands, while the 11.6″ Full HD touchscreen is readable even in bright sunlight. This is Dell’s most rugged tablet yet, sealed to IP65 and tested to survive drops, dust, water spray, and vibration.

A detachable backlit keyboard (optional) transforms the unit into a compact mobile workstation, ideal for on-the-go field service, maintenance, or inspection work. Dual battery support allows for extended shifts when the second battery is selected. Many units also include a dedicated u-blox M8N GPS for location-based tools and mapping.
