Returns Policy

If you need to make a claim related to your order, we accept returns for:

Items damaged during shipping
Incorrect items received
Faulty products

For Items Damaged During Shipping

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If the packaging arrives visibly damaged (crushed, wet, torn), inspect the contents immediately and note any damage before signing for delivery.

If you discover damage when unpacking or during initial testing, contact us as soon as possible with photos of the damage and packaging materials. Early reporting helps us lodge insurance claims and arrange a remedy quickly.

Theft or Loss During Delivery

Our transit insurance covers loss or theft while goods are in transit with the courier, up to $20,000 per consignment. Once a package is delivered to your nominated address, it is no longer covered by our transit insurance.

Please ensure you provide a secure delivery address where packages can be safely received. We recommend using a business address, workplace, or location where someone will be available to collect deliveries.

For all damaged, incorrect, or faulty items, we’ll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you once the item is returned.

Change of Mind Returns

Within 14 Days of Delivery (Terms & Conditions Apply)

We understand that sometimes a product may not be the right fit. If you change your mind within 14 days of delivery, we can accept a return under the following conditions:

Return Requirements

The item must be returned in the same condition it was supplied, with all accessories and packaging
Contact us to receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before returning anything – items sent back without an RMA may experience delays in processing
Devices showing wear, damage, or missing accessories beyond normal testing will not be eligible for return
The 14-day period starts from the delivery date shown in your courier tracking

Return Processing Fees

Return processing fees help cover the work involved in handling returns – including technician inspection, hardware testing, data wiping, payment processing fees from Visa, Mastercard, Amex, and PayPal (which providers don’t refund to us), and the shipping costs we paid to deliver your order.

Refurbished Products (Refurbished by RevivedIT)

Orders $1,000 and above: 15% restocking fee
Orders under $1,000: 20% restocking fee

Brand New Products

All brand new products: 25% restocking fee

What’s Included in the Processing Fee

Technician inspection and testing: Every returned device goes through our full testing process to ensure it’s ready for the next customer
Payment processing fees: Credit card and PayPal providers charge us fees that aren’t refunded when we process your return
Original shipping costs: Even if your order qualified for free shipping, we still paid to deliver it to you
Return shipping: You’re responsible for the cost and safe return of the item back to us

All refunds are processed back to your original payment method.

Warranty Coverage

Unless otherwise specified, all products include a 6-month hardware warranty from the date of your order.

Extended warranties of 1 or 2 years are available for selected products.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Battery and Accessory Warranty

Used/Tested Batteries

6 Months

All batteries are tested using our purpose-built discharge software to ensure they meet minimum performance standards.

Brand New Batteries

12 Months

Manufacturer coverage on new battery products. Refer to the product page for details.

Bundled Accessories

6 Months

Covered for the same duration as the core product.

How Warranty Claims Work

Return-to-Base Service

To process a warranty claim, you’re responsible for shipping the item to our Adelaide workshop. We recommend using a trackable service like Australia Post.

If We Confirm a Hardware Fault

We’ll reimburse your inbound shipping costs up to standard trackable postage rates (please keep your receipt)
We’ll return your repaired or replacement device using our standard tracked shipping at no charge

Express Shipping & Remote Locations

We use standard Australia Post shipping for warranty returns. If you need express/overnight service, or you’re in a remote location requiring specialised freight, the difference in cost must be paid before dispatch.

No Fault Found

If assessment shows no hardware fault (software issue, user damage, or no issue present), shipping costs are not reimbursed and return shipping costs apply before the device is released.

Data and Privacy

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for backing up all data before returning any device for warranty service or returns. RevivedIT is not responsible for any data loss.

Secure Data Wiping

All returned devices undergo a secure data wipe as part of our standard intake process. By returning a device, you acknowledge that all data will be permanently erased.

If you require data recovery or preservation, please contact us before shipping the device.

Other Warranty Terms

Replacements do not reset the warranty period
Warranty is void if the product has been tampered with or misused
