The FZ-VCN551U is Panasonic’s OEM I/O expansion module designed for the rear expansion bay on the Toughbook 55. If your workflow depends on legacy serial connections, VGA output, or an extra USB 3.1 port, this is the clean solution — no adapters, no dongles, just slide it into the bay and go.

Installation is straightforward and user-serviceable. If your unit has a blanking plate fitted, remove the four Phillips screws securing it, lift the plate clear, and the module installs directly onto the unit.
