Important compatibility note

Not all CF-54 units are pre-fitted with the secondary battery connector.

• If your CF-54 currently has a plastic blank in the optical bay, it generally means the
  secondary battery connector is present. You can remove the blank and slot this battery straight in.
• If your CF-54 has an optical drive installed in that bay, it usually does not have the
  secondary battery connector fitted. In which case the secondary battery will not work without modifying the Toughbook itself.
