The Dell Latitude 7230 Rugged Extreme is a fully rugged tablet built for field professionals who need reliable performance in tough conditions. A ground-up redesign of the 7220, the 7230 makes a significant jump from 8th Gen to 12th Gen Intel Core, bringing a larger and substantially brighter display, faster wireless, and Thunderbolt 4 connectivity to Dell’s rugged tablet platform.

The 12.0″ 1920×1200 screen is noticeably larger than the 7220’s 11.6″ panel and pushes 1200 nits — 200 nits brighter than its predecessor. Combined with glove and rain touch capability, it’s genuinely usable outdoors without fighting the screen. This is Dell’s most capable rugged tablet yet, sealed to IP65 and tested to MIL-STD-810H for drops, dust, water, and vibration.

Dual hot-swappable batteries mean you can run through a full shift and keep going without finding a power point.

A Note on Configuration

The 7230 is a highly configurable platform. Individual units may have the optional I/O expansion bay fitted with an additional USB-A port, RJ-45, mini-serial, or barcode scanner. These cannot be guaranteed across every unit we stock. GPS may also be fitted depending on the unit configuration.
