The FZ-G2 MK1 i7 is a 10.1″ fully rugged tablet built for work that doesn’t stop for weather, drops, or dust. This i7 configuration gives you extra processing headroom over the standard i5 build, so software that leans on the CPU, GIS platforms, diagnostic tools, asset tracking, anything multi-threaded, actually has room to run properly.

These are Seconds Grade units. Same rugged tablet, same performance, priced down because of a cosmetic screen mark covered in the product note below. If you’re working outdoors, in a vehicle, or on-site where the device takes a hit now and then, this is the class of hardware built for that. If you’re desk-based and want a spotless screen, this batch isn’t it, and we’d rather say that now than have it be a surprise later.

Product Note: Seconds Grade Display

This batch has a discoloured patch in one top corner of the screen, visible mainly on bright white content (refer to the last photo). It’s cosmetic, doesn’t affect touch response or day to day operation, and is the reason these units are graded Seconds and priced accordingly. Not an issue for most use cases, but worth knowing before you buy.

Product Note: Removable SSD Canister & Extended Battery

This model is equipped with a rear-mounted quick-release SSD canister. The storage drive can be removed without tools, making it well suited to environments where data security protocols require the physical separation of storage media at the end of a shift or job. This variant also ships with the larger 68Wh high-capacity battery as standard, providing extended runtime compared to the base battery configuration.
